Initially built in 1950, our facility is now made up of several buildings that have been constructed through the years. These include a 3 "pod" structure which used to be known as Mountainview School. The Main building has also undergone building expansion, too. Ecole Glenmore Elementary offers French Immersion and English programs with over 630 students enrolled in 28 classes (2/3 of the students are enrolled in the French Immersion program and 1/3 of the students attend the English program).
There is a highly active Parent Advisory Council which supports school events and activities throughout the school year. We appreciate their efforts to contribute to our great school!
Behavioral expectations at the school are based on "Positive Behaviour Interventions & Supports" (PBIS). This is a well-researched framework which recognizes students for their positve behaviour and brings consistency to discipline structures. We are proud to say that we have a very well-mannered and respectful learning community.
